Students and staff members in the Ocean County School District leverage technology to innovate, collaborate, and contribute meaningfully in a globally connected society. Technology in the OCSD will allow all learners to excel in a rigorous curriculum.
Role and Goal of the Technology Department
The Ocean County School District is dedicated to implementing the New Technology to support our initiative such as 1:1 and project based learning, which teaches exploration and inquiry while students engage in smaller learning communities.
Students across the district work in a 1:1 computer environment researching, communicating and solving real problems. Traditional freshman high school courses such as English and History, Algebra and Science are combined as students research and problem solve issues that impact our community, state and nation.
Ocean County School District's innovative curriculum will engage students as they develop their knowledge and skills.
